Privacy notice
This notice explains what we do with your details when you contact us through this website, by phone or by email.
Who we are
Network North West is a trading name of Network (NW) Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14807360). Our registered office is 7 Tranmere Road, Blackpool, FY4 3DL. You can contact us by email at enquiries@networknw.com or by phone on 07498 614173.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through the form, we collect your name, phone number, email address (if you give one), postcode, the type of work, your message and whether you’ve asked for a service reminder. When you call or email us, we keep the details you give us.
When you tap a button on this website to call, text, WhatsApp or email us, the website counts the tap, with the page you were on and how you found the site (for example from Google or Facebook). It doesn’t record your phone number or anything else that identifies you, and it doesn’t use cookies. We use these counts to see which pages bring enquiries.
If you get in touch through the form for tradespeople who’d like to work with us, we collect your name, business name, trade, phone number, email address, the areas you cover, any registrations and insurance you tell us about, and your message.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to quote for and carry out the work. The law allows this because you've asked us to take these steps before entering into a contract, and because we have a legitimate interest in answering enquiries about our work. If you ask for a service reminder, we also contact you when your next boiler service is due; tell us at any time if you’d like us to stop. If you’re a tradesperson who’d like to work with us, we use your details to decide whether to work together and to contact you about work. We don't sell your details or use them for marketing.
Who handles it for us
- Cloudflare hosts this website, runs the enquiry form and provides the spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile). The spam check looks at information from your browser to tell people apart from automated bots.
- Google provides the email account that enquiries are delivered to, and the spreadsheet we record them in.
These companies may process data outside the UK. When they do, they use safeguards that UK data protection law allows for international transfers.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry doesn't lead to any work, we delete it within 12 months. If you’re a tradesperson who’d like to work with us and we don't go on to work together, we delete your details within 12 months. If you become a customer, we keep the job records we need for tax and legal reasons, usually for 6 years.
Cookies
This website doesn't use cookies for tracking, analytics or advertising. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or follow you to other websites.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, or object to how we use them. Contact us using the details above. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
